High voltage or low voltage, who should use forklift lithium batteries? After nearly ten years of development, forklift lithium batteries have now entered a period of rapid growth. The advantages of fast charging, clean operation, and maintenance advantages such as no need to add water have become important factors for users to choose. Recently, high-voltage forklift lithium batteries have entered the market one after another, providing a new option for forklift lithium batteries. How should we understand and judge the advantages and disadvantages of the two? What is the future of new energy for forklifts? As the first forklift person in China to come into contact with forklift lithium batteries and high-voltage lithium batteries, I first participated in the testing and consultation of forklift lithium batteries in 2012, and participated in the testing and consulting services of high-voltage lithium battery forklifts in 2019. I will talk about my views and ideas from a business and application perspective for your reference. There are basically two types of domestic high-voltage lithium batteries: 150V and 300V (due to the different voltages of lithium batteries when packed into modules, the actual lithium battery voltages matched by each manufacturer will be different). Why does this need arise? Electric vehicles and electric logistics vehicles use 300V or 150V as the basic configuration of lithium batteries. Currently, 800V high voltage has entered the electric vehicle industry. Therefore, from a technical level, it is also feasible to apply high-voltage lithium batteries to forklifts. The rated voltage/capacity of Tesla's lithium batteries is mainly 355.2V/145.7Ah.
